Invest on #GivingTuesday to Alleviate Hunger in America

At Focus Relief Photography for Charity, #GivingTuesday is really no different than all the other Tuesdays throughout the year.

The core of our mission is to help alleviate hunger in America. Focus Relief is proud to support community programs whose primary focus is addressing the issues surrounding hunger across the country.

In this issue of the InFocus newsletter, we discuss the initial results from our recent customer feedback survey, spotlight an organization working diligently on the issues surrounding homelessness, share stories in the fight against hunger, and our photo of the week.

Our First Survey: Listening and Adjusting

At Focus Relief, we often say this isn't about us it's about alleviating hunger.

As a subscriber, that makes you an investor in our vision. As an investor, your feedback on our website is vital for improving the customer experience – your experience.

In a survey we sent out last week, we asked your thoughts on how we are doing. While we're still accepting responses, we've already begun to address a few concerns that came across very clear:

  • Our transparency with the term "limited-edition photos." In our eagerness to launch www.focusrelief.com, we discovered we unintentionally overlooked to define what we mean by the term "limited edition." Hopefully, the following statement will clear things up (it's now on our home page): In order to retain the value of your investment, we maintain a strict limit (25) of the maximum number of each photo sold. Once the limited number of 25 prints sold – regardless of size – has been reached, that's it. With the exception of books and marketing materials, this image will no longer become available to anyone. Ever.

  • You love our gallery of photos. But you want more selection and value for your investment. As subscribers, you will be the first to know when we are adding new photos – coming very soon! As for value, we've already made a few tweaks to our pricing to address this issue. We even put a few items on sale. Take a look.
At Focus Relief, we’re constantly trying to improve the customer experience. That’s why we would like you to take two minutes of time to complete this 10-question, anonymous survey. Would you be so kind to complete this survey before Nov. 30th? Thanks!

Kauai’s famed Tree Tunnel resides on a mile-long stretch of Eucalyptus trees that canopy the road leading to the island’s breathtaking Poipu Beach. It took the dodging of more than a few fast-moving cars by our photographer to get this shot just right. Photo by Tarik Trad.
